Julie Cochrane ("I", "me", "my") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use and safeguard the personal information you share when visiting juliecochrane.com or booking a session.
Information I collect
- Contact details you provide when booking a discovery call or session, name, email address and any details you choose to share.
- Session content, including notes I take to support your therapeutic work. These are kept confidentially and never shared without your written consent.
- Website analytics, anonymous usage data (pages visited, device type) to help me improve the site. No personally identifying information is collected through analytics.
How I use your information
Your information is used only to:
- Schedule and deliver your sessions
- Communicate with you about your booking, recordings or follow-ups
- Send occasional emails if you have explicitly opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Comply with my professional, ethical and legal obligations as a clinical hypnotherapist and RTT practitioner
Confidentiality
Everything discussed in session is confidential. The only exceptions are where disclosure is required by law, where there is a serious and imminent risk to your safety or another person's safety or where you have given me explicit written permission to share specific information.
How your information is stored
Session notes are stored securely and digital communications are kept on password-protected systems. Booking and payment information is handled by third-party providers (Calendly and the payment processor) with their own privacy policies and security standards.
Sharing your information
I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. I will not share your information with any third party except where required by law or with your explicit consent.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the personal information I hold about you
- Ask for corrections to any inaccurate information
- Request that your information be deleted, subject to any legal record-keeping requirements
- Withdraw consent to receive emails at any time
