RTT for Imposter Syndrome

Hypnotherapy for Imposter Syndrome

You look successful from the outside. Inside, you are waiting to be found out. Imposter syndrome is not a confidence problem. It is a subconscious belief running quietly underneath everything you achieve.

Calm, considered presence: hypnotherapy for imposter syndrome

Most people with imposter syndrome are high performers. They have degrees, promotions, awards and respect from their peers. None of it lands. The next achievement just raises the bar for what proves they are still not the fraud they secretly suspect they are.

Coaching, affirmations and mindset work can take you so far. They speak to the part of you that already understands. The part that feels like a fraud is older and lives somewhere else. It was formed in childhood by small moments that taught you your worth was conditional. Until that belief is updated at the level it was created, no amount of evidence will be enough.

Rapid Transformational Therapy works at that level. In a session, we go to the exact moments where you decided you were not quite enough. We update the meaning attached to those moments. You walk out with a different baseline. Not just a new thought to repeat.

A note on approach

Rapid Transformational Therapy is at the core of how I work and it is what most of this page is describing. Where a session calls for it I also draw on Clinical Hypnotherapy, Integration Coaching or the Rewind Technique. We talk through the right combination for you in your free discovery call.

How this work helps

RTT is a hybrid of hypnotherapy, regression therapy, cognitive behavioural work and neuroscience-informed reframing. In one 90 to 120 minute session, you enter a relaxed and focused state. From there, we trace the imposter feeling back to its origin. There is always an origin. It is rarely what people expect.

Once the original moment is found, we update the meaning. The child who decided she was only loved when she performed is met by the adult who knows the truth. A bespoke transformational recording then locks the new belief in over the following 21 days.

Most clients report that the constant background dread of being exposed is noticeably quieter within days. They make decisions faster. They speak up sooner. They stop discounting compliments. The relief is structural, not surface level.

What you can expect

  • Identify the moments your subconscious decided your worth was conditional
  • Update the meaning of those moments so they no longer drive present-day behaviour
  • Receive a personalised hypnosis recording to listen to for 21 days
  • Notice a quieter inner critic and a steadier sense of self at work
  • Stop discounting your achievements and start owning them

Common questions

Can imposter syndrome really be resolved in one session?

For many clients, one RTT session is enough to shift the core belief driving imposter syndrome. The 21-day recording is what locks the change in. Some clients choose a follow-up session for related layers like perfectionism or fear of visibility.

I have done years of therapy. Why would this be different?

Traditional talk therapy works primarily with the conscious mind. Imposter syndrome lives in the subconscious. RTT is designed to access that layer directly, find the original belief and update it, rather than discussing it from the outside.

Do I need to remember a specific childhood trauma for this to work?

No. Most imposter syndrome does not trace back to a single big event. It usually comes from small repeated moments where you learned your worth was tied to performance, niceness or being useful. RTT uncovers these moments naturally during the session.

Is RTT done online?

Yes. All sessions are conducted via Zoom from anywhere in the world. RTT is designed to work just as effectively online as in person.
