Most people who come to me about confidence are not lacking ability. They are capable, often impressive and quietly convinced they need to over-prepare, soften or shrink before they are allowed to take up space.
Underneath confidence sits a learned response. A subconscious decision, often made very young, that being visible was risky. That speaking up brought consequences. That being yourself was something to manage rather than express.
Hypnotherapy and RTT work where that response is held. The aim is not to perform confidence over the top of self-doubt. It is to update the underlying pattern so showing up no longer requires bracing for impact.

How this work helps
In an RTT session we trace your current confidence pattern back to the moments your subconscious decided being seen, heard or assertive was unsafe. We then update the meaning of those moments so the original conclusion no longer holds.
From there we install a new internal response. A felt steadiness when stepping forward, contributing, asking for what you want or being looked at. The 21-day personalised recording reinforces the new wiring while it consolidates.
Clients describe walking into meetings differently. Speaking without rehearsing. Holding eye contact. Making decisions from preference rather than approval. Showing up without first earning the right to.

Common questions
Is this the same as working on self-esteem?
They are closely linked but they are not the same. Confidence is about how you show up and act. Self-esteem is the underlying sense of your own worth. Many people need both pages and both pieces of work. Start with whichever feels closer to the daily experience you want to shift.
Will affirmations finally work after this?
Affirmations work when the subconscious already agrees with them. After RTT updates the underlying belief, supportive language lands because it is no longer arguing with what is held underneath.
Can RTT help with social confidence specifically?
Yes. Social anxiety, fear of judgement and difficulty being seen all respond well because they share the same subconscious root: a learned belief that being yourself is unsafe.
How long do the results last?
RTT is designed for lasting change. The 21-day recording locks the new wiring in. Most clients describe the shift as permanent rather than something that fades.
