Self-esteem is not what you say to yourself in the mirror. It is the quiet baseline underneath everything that decides whether you feel inherently enough.
Low self-esteem rarely sounds like 'I am not enough' on the surface. It sounds like an inner critic that never quite switches off. The over-apologising. The hesitation to ask. The constant low hum of needing to earn your place.
That baseline is almost never decided in adulthood. It is decided in small childhood moments where love, attention or approval felt conditional. The subconscious mind concluded something about your worth and built every protective pattern from that conclusion. Perfectionism. People-pleasing. Achievement that never quite lands.
Hypnotherapy and RTT work at the level the conclusion was first made. The goal is not to feel better about yourself through repetition. It is to update the original belief so the inner critic no longer has anything to defend.

How this work helps
In an RTT session we trace the felt sense of not being enough back to the early moments your subconscious decided your worth was conditional. We then update the meaning of those moments so the original conclusion is no longer true at the level it was formed.
From there we install a new internal narrative. A steady sense of inherent worth that does not need to be earned, proved or performed. The 21-day personalised recording reinforces it daily while the new wiring consolidates.

Common questions
How is self-esteem different from confidence?
Confidence is about how you act. Self-esteem is about how you experience your own worth underneath the action. You can be highly confident in your abilities and still carry a quiet sense of not being enough. RTT can address both, with self-esteem usually the deeper layer.
What if I do not remember anything significant happening in my childhood?
Self-esteem is rarely shaped by one big moment. It is shaped by everyday moments where a child concluded love was conditional. The subconscious mind remembers what the conscious mind has long since stopped tracking.
I have done years of therapy on this. Why would RTT work where talk therapy has not?
Insight and self-knowledge live in the conscious mind. The not-enough belief lives in the subconscious mind. RTT works at the level the belief is held, which is why long-standing patterns can shift in a way that years of understanding alone has not produced.
Will this stop me being driven and ambitious?
No. It removes the part of the drive that is fuelled by not feeling enough. What remains is the part that comes from preference and creativity. Clients describe achieving as much or more, without the constant background pressure of needing to prove themselves.
