RTT for Stress

Hypnotherapy for Stress and Burnout

Chronic stress is not a workload problem. It is a nervous system problem. The reason you cannot rest, even when there is nothing to do, lives below the conscious mind.

Hypnotherapy for stress and burnout: releasing the drive to over-perform

Most people who are burnt out know exactly what they should do. Rest more. Say no more. Delegate. The instruction is clear. Following it feels impossible. There is something underneath that will not let them stop.

That something is usually a subconscious belief. 'If I stop, something bad will happen.' 'I am only valuable when I am producing.' 'Resting is unsafe.' Until that belief is updated, every attempt to slow down creates more anxiety than the work itself.

A note on approach

Rapid Transformational Therapy is at the core of how I work and it is what most of this page is describing. Where a session calls for it I also draw on Clinical Hypnotherapy, Integration Coaching or the Rewind Technique. We talk through the right combination for you in your free discovery call.

How this work helps

In a session, we find the moment your system first decided that being on was the only way to be safe. We update what that moment meant. Rest becomes possible without panic.

The 21-day recording supports the nervous system to settle into a new baseline. Clients describe sleeping more deeply and being able to do less without guilt.

What you can expect

  • Find the subconscious driver underneath your inability to switch off
  • Update the belief that keeps the nervous system on alert
  • Use your recording to support daily nervous system regulation
  • Notice deeper rest, better sleep and a lower baseline of urgency

Common questions

Will hypnotherapy actually let me stop working all the time?

It addresses the subconscious driver that makes stopping feel unsafe. Once that is updated, choosing rest stops feeling like a battle. Most clients report being able to slow down without the anxiety that used to follow.

Is burnout a real condition?

Yes. Burnout is now formally recognised. From an RTT perspective, the pattern usually has a long subconscious history. Work was the trigger, not the cause.
